Steve Luhrs

Steve Luhrs founded Bionic Pet Products, an industry leader in virtually indestructible dog toys. Launched in 2011, Bionic Pet Products quickly became the fastest growing toy company in the industry. In 2012 Bionic was recognized as one of the Top 10 products at Global Pet, and quickly became one of the few recognizable brands within the pet toy space. Bionic designs, trend setting branding and impressive market share gained in such a short period of time lead Private Equity firm, The Riverside Company to acquire Bionic in Jan 2015.
After successfully transitioning BIONIC to Outward Hound, Steve has help build other brands within pet. He also held the position of President of Trixie Pet Products USA. While at Trixie, Steve successfully launched a number of new products into pet distribution, a channel that Trixie has not seen any traction in prior to his arrival.
Harnessing his knowledge, expertise and relationships, Mr. Luhrs is now refocused on helping entrepreneurs realize their potential in the pet space.
